About
Meet Mark — an athlete born on May 23, 2014, for whom sport is not just an activity, but a way of life. He trains in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), grappling, freestyle wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His athletic journey began at the age of four at KRAV MAGA ARMENIA, under the guidance of coach Artur Zaqaryan. Demonstrating high discipline and diligence, he made remarkable progress and advanced to the professional team: KMA Fight Club.
Mark’s dedication and hard work have led to significant achievements. He won a gold medal at the international AJP TOUR (Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro) tournament held in Yerevan. Following this, he successfully competed in the MIXFIGHT National Amateur Open Championship of Mixed Martial Arts, securing first place.
On May 23, 2025, by participating in the Armenian Mixed Martial Arts Championship (MMAFA), he became the champion.
2025 was marked by success on the international stage. Competing in Belgrade, Serbia, at the IMMAF European Championship, Mark became the champion. Later, at the IMMAF World Championship held in Al Ain (Abu Dhabi, UAE), he became the vice-champion, proving that he is one of the world’s top young fighters. That same year, he participated in the Gokor Chivichyan's Cup international grappling tournament and took first place.
Mark also loves swimming. In 2024, participating in the internal swimming championship organized by the InSport club, he competed in freestyle and took first place.
Since July 2026, Mark has continued his training at LEGACY BJJ YEREVAN and LION HEART ARMENIA.
Daily training, unwavering will, and determination have shaped him into an athlete who confidently marches toward new victories.
